In a great game on Friday night the Falcons took on a visting Buchholtz at home. Looking sharper than there first match the falcons played well and beat Bucholtz 11-5. Heading the offense was Connor Thompson with 5 goals,Shane Kemp and Frank Slamka with 2 goals, and Stephen Argitis and John Blanchard chpping in with one goal a piece. This team victory instills great hopes for the 2008-2009 Menendez Falcons season.

In the Falcons first game of the 2008-2009 season, Menendez took on Ponte Vedra. After a weak start the falcons bounced back scoring 3 goals making in the second half finishing the game with a score of 14 - 3. It was a great effort for the home falcons agaisnt a tough Ponte Vedra team. Frank Slamka had two goals and  Shane Kemp  had one on the night.

The Pumpkin Shootout was a great succes for the 2009 Falcons. The team went 5-2, and everyone contributed towards the teams succes. All the players met with the new coach, Coach Jimmy Oliver, and semmed to take on the new leadership well. This pre-season tournament gave the Falcons an optimistic view for the season. Thanks to all players, parents and coachs who turned out to help.
